Rihanna gets in on the Uruguay vs England World Cup comments!

When it comes to the World Cup, there’s no shortage of stars that like to get in on the action and show their support for whatever team they may be rooting for. Pop-star Rihanna makes no exception, and it seems like the “Umbrella” wielding celebrity isn’t shy to mock the team it is supporting. England has just suffered a defeat from Uruguay, a team that managed to defeat the Brits 2-1 last night, and Rihanna is among the supporters that are sorely disappointed. The star commented both during and after the game, via her Twitter page.

As you can see, the star isn’t shying away from openly mocking England’s team, a team that frankly could have done better last night. Of course, similar comments can be seen all across Rihanna’s Twitter feed, so if that didn’t satisfy your appetite for celebrity mockery, feel free to check her Twitter page out. It seems Rihanna is a supporter of the English team, however, the pop-star does have a back-up plan. If all else fails, the celebrity will be rooting for Ghana it seems. No, she doesn’t have any ties to Ghana’s team, but she does seem to have the hots for one particular player on that team – Kevin Prince Boateng.

Regardless of Rihanna’s preference in team and men, there’s plenty of World Cup action going on today too. Italy will be meeting Costa Rica later today in group D, Switzerland has a rough time ahead with France in group E, and in the same group we’ll be seeing Honduras taking on Ecuador. Some great games to follow. What are your forecasts?
