Jason Orange announced that he is quitting Take That. He posted the big news on Take That’s official website. He decided that he doesn’t want to involve himself with the creation of the new record the band already started working at.
He is very grateful and proud of all the successes they had together as a group. In spite of all the achievements, he confirmed to the other three members of the band, Howard Donald, Gary Barlow and Mark Owen that he doesn’t want to be part of the new record. However, he is fully supportive and encourages them to continue the project without him.
The three members of the band are really sad over his departure but they are fully respecting Orange’s decision to leave. They take this as a big loss, both professionally and personally. They mentioned that the band couldn’t have achieved so much without Jason’s energy, creativity and enthusiasm. He was a true inspiration for the band over the years. Take That was a big hit back in the 90’s, one of the best pop group in Great Britain. They recorded 11 albums and had 11 singles to reach number one in the UK. Their hit ‘Back for Good’ made them famous in 1995, making it to number 1 in 31 countries and also found their way up on the US top ten.

Another great achievement of the group was their Progress tour in 2011. This was a huge success in the United Kingdom. The band managed to sell a record of 1.34 million tickets only in one day, making it one of the best selling tours in the UK and Irish history.
