UFO Photobombs International Space Station Video

The truth is out there, and I want to believe? Well, if you believe we are not alone in the universe, the NASA video uploaded to YouTube last week might just be the evidence you need. In a recording of NASA Flight Engineer Reid Wiseman and ESA Flight Engineer Alexander Gerst repairing an electrical problem outside the International Space Station was just photobombed by an unidentified flying object (well, actually a hovering one). That’s right, a UFO.

The incident happened on October 7, during a spacewalk taken by the two astronauts outside the ISS. A yet unidentified and unexplained phenomenon can be seen on the video of the spacewalk posted online by NASA, that has triggered a huge frenzy of speculations on the internet and beyond. The size and shape of the mysterious hovering object can’t be made out, as usual, as the recording of the spacewalk is quite grainy. Still, it has given a lot to think about believers, speculators and UFO fans all over the world.

The Examiner has a more earthly explanation for the mysterious flying object hovering close to the ISS. According to the magazine, it’s not an extraterrestrial vessel, but a terrestrial one: one of the two resupply vessels currently visiting the International Space Station. This might not be the case, though, as – according to NASA’s own records, the Space X Dragon has docked with the ISS on September 23, and will leave for home on October 18, while the Soyuz TMA-14M followed two days later, and will return Earthside on November 10. Both vessels are currently docked with the ISS, and could not have been seen hovering around the space station.

This is not the first time in 2014 when mysterious object appear around the International Space Station. In a live feed streamed from the ISS on January 29 shows a yellow, elliptical object – said to be a UFO – that appeared to be docked with the space station, raising lots of concerns about unknown astronauts – locals or aliens – visiting the establishment. NASA has not given an explanation of the incident ever since.
