Taylor Swift just announced her new album, one which she has been working for almost two years. The artist was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday evening and she talked about the release. The title is her year of birth. Taylor kept the album only on her phone, outside the studio, saying she didn’t want it to be bootlegged. 3 titles are already available on iTunes, the full release of Taylor Swift 1989 will be on the 27th October in the US. Her most featured song from the 3 is “Shake it off”, which she performed Live outside Kimmel’s studio to a huge audience of fans. The first released song was “Out of the Woods”, on October 14th. It was followed by “Welcome to New York” a week later.
The last song of the album is “Clean” that has the only featured secondary artist. Imogen Heap collaborated on the performance of “Clean” and Taylor Swift said they wrote it together. The album got very good reviews from The Times and other magazines. When Kimmel asked about her reaction to this, Taylor said it’s always overwhelming. She added “whoever says they don’t care are liars”.

Jimmy Kimmel told audience a funny story where Taylor went to the talent scount of the show and was turned down because of her young age. Kimmel made a skit where he kicked the scout talent out in front of Taylor as a sort of apology to Swift. The Taylor Swift 1989 album features 13 songs in total, and will be available on the 27th in the US and the 28th in UK and Germany.
