Robin Williams in new “Night at the Museum” trailer

The new trailer for the Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb is here. This is the third movie in the “Night at the Museum” franchise, which finds the magical tablet that animates him and fellow historical figures Octavius (Steven Coogan) and cowboy Jedediah (Owen Wilson) running out of its magic,” Entertainment Weekly reported. Ben Stiller returns as security guard Larry Daley, who takes up the task of keeping his pals animated by flying everyone to the Natural History Museum in London. The trailer also features stars such as Rebel Wilson as British security guard Tilly and Dan Stevens Sir Lancelot. The trailer also features late Robin Williams in one of his final roles.

“Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb,”  opens December 19, according to CNN. This movie is one of the four completed projects Robin Williams left behind when he died in August. He reprises his role as former President Theodore Roosevelt from the two previous movies. The other 3 projects are “Merry Friggin’ Christmas,” a holiday comedy released on November 7; “Boulevard,” a drama that debuted earlier this year at the Tribeca Film Festival; and “Absolutely Anything,” in which Robin Williams voiced “Dennis the Dog.”

Robin Williams had a particularly close connection to one of his Museum costars, Crystal the Monkey. In July, he celebrated his last birthday with a visit from the trained animal, posting a picture to Instagram with his furry friend, US Magazine says. “Happy Birthday to me! A visit from one of my favorite leading ladies, Crystal,” he wrote at the time.

Robin Williams  committed suicide  on August 14 at his home in Paradise Cay, California. His death was widely covered as fans and colleagues expressed their regrets regarding his tragic fate. The actor is famed and will be remembered for his roles in classics such as “Good Morning, Vietnam” (1987), “Dead Poets Society” (1989) and “Mrs. Doubtfire” (1993).
