Black Friday – the first Friday after Thanksgiving marking the the official start for the holiday shopping season – is upon us. This year we have loads of things to keep an eye out for, as many new products have been released that are craved by many – and will probably be seriously discounted at this time of the year. There are a few deals already announced that will be worth the wait – here is a quick selection of these.
Sony PlayStation 4
Sony has recently announced its sales plans for the PlayStation 4 during the holiday season. According to the announcement, Sony’s number one gaming console, the PlayStation 4 (the 500 GB version), will go on sale bundled with Grand Theft Auto V, for the price of $399,99 / CAD449,99 on Black Friday.
Not into GTA V? There is a bundle for you as well – Sony has announced an alternative deal, the same PS4 with two games in the bundle: LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham and LittleBigPlanet 3 for the same price.
Deals at Best Buy
Best Buy, one of the largest electronics retailers in the US, offers its buyers a series of great deals this Black Friday. For this year’s shopping bonanza they prepare the following offers: Dropcam HD (recording 720p video) for $100 instead of $149, the Philips Hue Starter Kit bundled with a free Philips Hue Bloom Accent (worth $80), and the Nest thermostat for $200 instead of $250. Besides it offers a 50″ Panasonic LED TV for $199.99, and a Dell Inspiron touchscreen laptop with Intel’s Core i3 processor on board for $299.99 (instead of $399.99).
GameStop Deals Leaked
GameStop, one of the largest video games and electronic retailers of the US, has prepared some really great deals for this Black Friday, according to Gamespot. Buyers will have the chance to purchase the Xbox One bundled with Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag for $330, Xbox 360 with Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty: Black Ops II for $200, Xbox One exclusives Dead Rising 3, Forza 5, and Ryse: Son of Rome for $30, plus PS4 exclusives Killzone: Shadow Fall, Infamous: Second Son, MLB 14: The Show, and Knack for $22.
GameStop will not be open for Thanksgiving – a number of their shops will open at midnight on the 27th, while the others at 5 AM local time on Black Friday (November 28th).
