In mind with the advancements of tech regarding Apple’s tablets, namely the light-weight iPad Air and the Retina display packed iPad mini 3, there are rumors that Apple is preparing something big, the iPad Pro. Rumors buzzing about say thatĀ Apple is preparing to launch its first Pro edition tablet, using the codenamesĀ it offered its notebook counterparts, the MacBook Air and Pro series. Logically if we are looking at a Pro series product, we should expect an increase in size for the iPad Pro, in the following year of 2015. According to other leaks the newest member of the iPad family might be refered to as the iPad Air Plus.
A lot of sources are sparking up rumors about the alleged release date of the iPad Pro, but all of them say more or less the same thing, next year with a more specific time-line focus on the first trimester. The Wall Street Journal credits the overwhelming sales and demands of iPhone 6 for the delay in launching the new iPad Pro. At the same time a leak from the supply chain reckons that the new tablet will measure 12.9 inches and will run a hybrid OS X and iOS-integrated operating system. Other sources claim that the iPad Pro will be packing a stronger version of the A8 chipset that is currently running on the iPhone 6 and that it will have almost UHD resolution.
It is less likely that Apple would bring much change to the design of the iPad Pro, given the fact that its most recent construction for the iPad Air was much acclaimed both by critics and customers. An alleged image of a dummy iPad Pro has appeared out of thin air and the dimensions aproximate to a 13 inch model rather than a 12. It is a sure bet that the iPad Pro will be heavier than the iPad Air, given its increased dimensions, but it shouldn’t be a problem for Apple to replicate the 7.5 mm model of the Air.
When talking about resolution for the iPad Pro there are several positions. Firstly, Korea Times reported that it will have almost UHD resolution, while Pad News stated that there will be both 2k and 4k resolution display models in the making. With regards to the processor there should be no surprise that Apple will be using for this baby at least a 64-bit A7 chip, if not even the new A8X or even a brand new A9 chip. Some fresh rumors go to suggest that Apple will be making use of a completely new model of processors, namely the A9. With all the excitement and the fuss going around this subject, we are eager to see further developments. Who knows what the tide will bring in?
