Samsung Galaxy Note 5: Rumors, News and Release Date

Despite the fact that the Note 4 has only recently hit the shelves, already rumors are going around about the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. When the Note device made its way to the market back in 2011 many looked in contempt at the new 5.3 inch phablet concept. Exactly three years later it has all around become a crown-jewel in its department. Some fresh reports go to suggest that the Galaxy Note 5 will make its appearance in Q3 2015. Not surprising it is rumored to be the first of its kind to incorporate an UHD resolution of 3840 X 2160. Ain’t that a whopper?

Since the Korean producer is heavily based on a yearly cycle of product release, the Galaxy Note 5 is to be expected in 2015. As such, aproximately 2nd of September 2015 is when we should first get a glimpse at the hot new toy. Although considering company habits, it should be made available for consumers only at the start of October.

Samsung plans on improving most of the aspects of its products to be able to cope with increased competitiveness from other producers and to balance off the decrease in long-term sales in 2014. The design of the new Galaxy Note 5 and the use of more premium materials will be at the core of the development agenda. Hopes are high up that we will see a Galaxy Note 5 with a full metal-jacket. Rumor-central for the new Galaxy Note 5 is the display setup. Inside sources claim that the Note 5 will benefit from a 5.9 inch stretch and a 4k 3840 X 2160 pixel display. Worth to be mentioned is also  the stunning 746 pixels-per-inch density. Nevertheless, this was Samsung’s goal: to bring 4k HD devices on the market by 2015.

Power to the core… Well at least that is what you get with a quad-core Snapdragon 805, and we are talking about the Note 4. Next year things are going in the direction of 64-bit for the new Galaxy Note 5. To pair nicely with Android 5.0 Lollipop, most likely the choice for the Galaxy Note 5, the new device is likely to use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip, or a newer yet to be confirmed chipset model. The expectancy is that it will run on a mind-boggling 4GB of RAM, plus an increased storage capability of up to 128 GB, through microSD support. What ever the finite product, we are sure this will be a device worth checking out. Gaze into the unknown and let it mesmerize you, ’cause who knows what might be popping out next?
