New Baby Groot from Hot Toys Is a Great Present for Guardians of the Galaxy Fans

‘’I am Groot’’ is like an ear-worm, but in terms of animated characters and any Guardians of the Galaxy fan must resort to this image when remembers great GOTG aspects. Probably the first thought of most of the cinema-goers who watched James Gunn’s Sci-Fi battle was: ‘’I want a tiny little Baby Groot of my own.’’ No worries! Hot Toys now brings you a cute and accurate replica of Baby Groot (it is true, the new toy does not dance).

IGN spread the word on the latest Hot Toys marvel: ‘’The Hong Kong-based toy company announced a 1/4th scale collectible Little Groot figurine.’’ Probably the downside of the new Guardians of the Galaxy gimmick is that it does not dance, as the original character funnily does on Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back.” Nonetheless, the new figurine brings you features which remind of its famous dancing scene in Guardians of the Galaxy. The toy has three interchangeable heads and movable arms, so it becomes quite an accurate replica of the original.

In comparison to its predecessors, Hot Toys Baby Groot proves to be more realistic and way cuter than the Lego Groot, for example, which is brick-like and rough. Funko’s Groot Bobblehead is perfect for a desk figurine, but its design is nowhere near the realistic and detailed version of Hot Toys. The new version is the one which best fits the description of the character, both its outer and inner traits: ‘’Groot descends from a race of walking flora and resembles a sentient tree. Despite his strange appearance and limited communication skills, Groot proves to be a valuable ally and a loyal friend not only to his fellow bounty hunter Rocket but to the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy as well.’’ (via IMDb)

Those of you in Hong Kong (from 19-21 December) will have the possibility to acquire the new Baby Groot at Toy Soul 2014 and so, will have the perfect Christmas present for your Sci-Fi friends. Another variant is to pre-order the toy for $44.99 and the shipping will be made in January 2015.
