Avengers: Age of Ultron is Marvel’s most expected picture of 2015, as brings together the heroes of 2012’s Avengers, who are now depicted as both victims and saviors. Tony Stark makes himself directly responsible for the tide of unfortunate events which conquers the Earth. The greatest question posed by the latest trailer is whether salvation can be achieved only through destruction or not; and the avengers are made to face their greatest and unimagined fears.
The today released trailer of Avengers: The Age of Ultron is the third one so far and it brings into focus all our beloved heroes and portraying actors: Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man (the man behind the Ultron ‘’gimmick’’), Chris Hemsworth as mighty Thor, our Chris Evans as Steve Rogers / Captain America, with Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow or Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter. The ultimate hero of the Avengers sequel is in fact the anti-hero, the Tony Stark created almighty robot Ultron. While all the other heroes are seen in the trailer in flesh and blood, Ultron is of course (an undefeatable) pile of metal, with James Spader’s voice thrilling the entire Planet.
‘’I was designed to save the world’’, confesses Ultron calmly and assuredly at the beginning of the trailer. But continues with an antagonistic line: ‘’There is one way to peace… Their extinction.’’ Whereas the mightiness of Utron is obvious from all the previously released trailers, the latest manages to point a clearer distinction at the difference between before and after, now and then, peace and the consequences, meaning the world before and after all Hell broke loose.
The mixture of Hulk, Loki and Thor in one single picture offers an insanely adventurous ride, with battles against evil and constant threats haunting from behind every corner. Add to this recipe God-like machine Ultron and a tint of sarcasm and good humor and you probably get the most expected movie of the year.
Avengers: Age of Ultron will be released on 1 May.
