For all the Back to the Future fans and not only them there comes a case that’s the closest resemblance of the car from the show. For anyone who has seen the movie, the DeLorean is as iconic as it gets and some of us just might have been struck by its looks. For this particular movie, it was not only just a car but a character that stuck with the time. That car was a childhood dream. Although if you’re watching for the first time or re-watching Back to the Future you might wonder why we don’t have hoverboards, flying cars and self-tying shoes by now. Tech didn’t quite evolved how the movie envisioned it but I see no reason why the iPhone from today which is the modern age signature gadget can’t get a great accessory straight from the mentioned show. A case that looks cool for the geek in you is what I mean.
Japanese toymaker Bandai thought of that and…poof!, they made a striking iPhone 6 case shaped just like the DeLorean time machine Marty McFly used in the movie to travel between historical eras in the sci-fi series. The DeLorean case closely resembles the car in every aspect, featuring flashing blue lights and wheels set sideways in taking-off position. The case is made so that the iPhone 6 fits neatly into the chassis of the mini-vehicle and the case also haves removable flaps that cover the camera and the volume control buttons. There is a slot over the hood that when pulled out it reveals the iPhone 6 rear camera and when there are incoming calls the built-in LED headlights are flashing. Granted, Marty McFly did have the DeLorean as a vehicle but I’m sure he wouldn’t mind having this case too.

I admit that it is not the most practical case, at all, being clunky and generally awkward-looking. It hides the camera flash which we all know is bad if you want to take pictures. Japanese manufacturer Bandai said the case will not be available until June at around $50. Even if you find it in your heart to accept the dorky-looking case you’ll still agree at times that it’s one of the craziest accessories you could put on a phone. It’s a Crazy Case made in Japan and that tells you all it needs to tell you.
