She was elected as Germany’s first woman Chancellor in 2005. She has played a significant role in the EU in regards to Greece and Spain adapting the German legal logic. Merkel piloted her country through the recession and made a very bold act of opening Germany’s border to immigrants from Syria and other Muslim countries as an act of humanity.
6. Narendra Modi
The 14th Prime Minister of India. His administration has focused on modernization, reform and improving foreign relations. Modi announced the “Make in India” campaign to encourage foreign companies to manufacture their products in India.
