Have you heard of the cheapest Android handset ever? Well we have just come across the xodiom (lowercase, indeed) and it’s the perfect example of spotless bang for buck. Much like the OnePlus One, the xodiom becomes the cheapest Android handset on the market in January, with excellent high-end specs and an incredibly low price tag of $330. While it does seem impossible, that price tag puts the xodiom as the prize winner of the cheapest Android handset ever.
The xodiom smartphone is sort of incognito brand smartphone which popped up out of nowhere. The website just appeared and people started noticing the incredible offer this xodiom superphone proposed. While we don’t know much about the manufacturer, the website is hosted by a German host so we might be looking at a German phone. In any case, the cheapest Android handset ever comes with banger specs you won’t believe.
First off, the xodiom has a 5.5 inch QHD Super AMOLED display. That’s the LG G3 display right there people, save for the Super AMOLED part. The cheapest Android handset ever will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 CPU and will be able to play 4K videos without a glitch, according to the website. A 16 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera are also featured on the xodiom, with the added benefit of LED flash and phase detection auto focus on the rear camera. What’s more is that the company supposedly packed a 3200 mAH battery into this behemoth, which should make for excellent battery life. Android 5.0 Lollipop is included in the package.
Even though we don’t know much about xodiom, so far it looks like it’s actually the cheapest Android handset ever and has some impressive specs to boast with. You can buy the xodiom for $330 if you want 32 GB internal storage, or you can pay $380 and get 64 GB internal storage. Although it doesn’t have an IP certification listed, the xodiom is supposedly resistant to sweat, rain, liquids, sand and dust. At the same time, its display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and its battery can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes. The cheapest Android handset with the best bang for buck I’ve seen should be released on January 5. We’ve contacted xodiom and will fill you in about details as soon as we get a reply. Until then, do you trust xodiom in order to wire transfer your money to them (that’s their current payment method)?
