The LG G4 is going to be one hell of a flagship and will have a reputation to keep thanks to its fatherly figure, the G3. The specs on the G3, its practical design and QHD resolution display made many look at it as the ultimate flagship of 2014. No official confirmation has been given on the G4 yet, but it will most certainly roll out soon enough. It will have to face heavy competition though, from the likes of the HTC One M9, the Galaxy S6 and many more that will come along. The speculated release date of the LG G4 is in March at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
Some pre-MWC event is expected in which the company will present its flagship, so expect LG to be sending out some invites. There might be surprises with the release considering the problems with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip and the date might be pushed further up the time-line. Besides the Snapdragon processor, the LG G4 should feature an equally large display at 5.5 inches, QHD like on its predecessor. Some rumors suggest that the Korean company might re-size the screen to a smaller, 5.3 inches length. Some other good news comes bearing in mind the fact that LG teased their 4K smartphone displays. We might just see it on the G4 too.
In the lines of memory hopes are that the LG G4 will pack at least 3 or 4 GB of RAM, while storage wise, multiple variants are expected, with and added microSD card reader. The rear camera should go up to 16 MP and be equipped with laser auto-focus and optical image stabilization, while the front snapper should be bearing 5 MP. It would be a sight for sour eyes to see the LG G4 at the MWC in Barcelona, but as the event is yet to be confirmed one can only hope for the best. It might just be that LG will stick to custom and launch it sometime in May, though it may prove to be a marketing failure considering the Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 will be out by then and give it heavy competition.
