Preview of Windows 10 for Phones may coming up very soon

If there’s one thing that has not changed over the years it is the trepidation with which we all anticipate new Microsoft operating systems. A majority of the world’s software users utilize Windows in one form or another and, perhaps for this very reason, we are quite likely to find a myriad of bugs and flaws in any new Windows OS. Therefore we anticipate them, to the point of making almost a cliche out of Microsoft’s unreliability. Still most of us do still use various incarnations of Windows in spite of the numerous alternatives so I think it’s more a matter of success being less visible than failure.

So what are we expecting this time around? A preview version of Windows 10 For Phones which may be presented as early as  the 4th of February. The source is an anonymous tipster that contacted  Nokia Power User  on two distinct occasions with the latest date given being the one given above. While anonymous sources are among the least reliable this only gives a specific date, it being obvious that with the presentation of the preview of Windows 10 for PCs out of the way the mobile version could not be far behind.

With the preview version of Windows 10 for PCs available for Windows Insider subscribers for a while now, we’ve been waiting to see what Windows 10 for Phones will offer. Hopefully we won’t have too long to wait. The date is within the 1-2 week interval after the January the 21st Windows 10 presentation that Joe Belfiore, Vice President, Windows Phone Program Management & Design at Microsoft, tweeted about recently.

Equally hopefully Microsoft won’t make a liar out of me due to the soft apologist introduction to this article for the sake of both my reputation and smartphone buyers everywhere. Thus I am eagerly awaiting a good solid product that has the limitations and peculiarities of smartphones in mind.
